Delivery
Once an order has been made, it will be accepted and confirmed by e-mail which will detail stock availability and the delivery expectation. Please provide as many contact numbers for delivery, as we can not dispatch any items without your verbal confirmation. Deliveries will require a signature when delivery is made.
At The Big Table Company we deliver to most post codes in the UK free of charge.
We work closely with a reputable furniture distribution company. They will call you before delivery to offer a two hour window for delivery so that you can plan your day. All the crew carry identification and are fully trained in handling all aspects of furniture.
The two man crew will place your furniture in the room of choice in the case of indoor furniture or on your patio in the case of garden furniture. Please ensure there is adequate access for our delivery vehicles. The crew will not deliver to any upstairs room without prior arrangement.
Large items (e.g. beds, wardrobes, tables) may be delivered in more than one piece. You will be responsible for the items once you have signed for them.
The delivery crew will at extra cost and by prior arrangement carry out simple assembly. Most of our furniture is pre built. However, some table legs are shipped separately for ease of delivery. Please call should you require assembly of your furniture.
We make every effort to deliver your order within 8 weeks or 14 days where items are in stock. However, delays to agreed delivery dates are occasionally inevitable and Mouse to House Furniture Ltd trading as 'thebigtablecompany' will not be liable for any loss caused to you by late delivery arising from circumstances outside our control.
If any delivery will exceed 8 weeks from confirmation of order, notification will be sent to you. However, Mouse to House Furniture Ltd trading as 'thebigtablecompany' will not be obliged to offer any compensation for loss or disappointment incurred on any orders delivered after 8 weeks..
